Truth above all else - Priority VA

Truth above all else

Truth is extremely important to me. So important, in fact, that I tattooed it on my wrist. That’s right! Once you do that, there’s no going back!

I’ve found over the years that not everyone sees eye to eye on the truth.

Some feel that it’s a relative term. They believe that it’s different for everyone based on the circumstances.

Others live and die by it and will not rest until they know with absolute certainty what is black and what is white.

Here’s the deal. Facts are subject to change. Today you are a man with a full head of hair. That’s a fact. You like it that way! However, in 15 years that fact can likely change. The fact them will be that you no longer have hair like Justin Bieber (Is he still a thing?!) and have much less hair. The facts will change.

On the other hand, truth never changes. I tell my kids that I love them. That is the truth. As life changes, one constant thing that will never change is my love for them. It’s the truth.

I have core values for my team members.

Responsibility.

Service.

Commitment.

Truth.

In my opinion, you can’t have one without the other. I want team members that do what they say. If you say that you can run Facebook Ads, then you better run them like a boss! My goal as a business owner is to create long-lasting Client/ VA relationships. In my experience, the teams that are most successful are based on truth.

The truth isn’t always easy. Sometimes it hurts worse than getting a tattoo, but I can promise you that it’s worth it to build the trust of your peers, clients and those around you.

How do you define truth?
