Live in the Now - Priority VA

You’re an entrepreneur who plays the cards you were dealt. You aren’t looking for new opportunity, rather, opportunities come to you. Or they don’t! And either way it’s OK in you book. You’re laid back that way!

You’ve been known to say that things “just happen.” You’re a go-with-the-flow kind of person. While you’re extremely focused and in the moment, you’re too afraid to risk failure, and as a result, you stay locked into your comfort zone.

The Challenge

The biggest challenge you face is balancing your desire to only focus on what’s in front of you, the “in-the-moment” stuff, with your real need to forecast and create goals, set projects and put a plan in place to achieve them. Success can come to those who function in this space, but it’s often at a slower pace than the other personality types.

Pro:

The best thing about being this type of entrepreneur, is that if something in front of you, you have insane focus to get a task done. Using lists and bulleted information you can check off your to-do list quickly and will get more done, so you can live your best life outside of work.

Con:

You often require a team around you that is looking for the potholes down the road, a strategic partner in business who can help arrange the dominoes and plan ahead, while leaving you, the “Live in the Now” entrepreneur, room to let things come.

Support Style

You need a team around you that will create space for you to fail. Having a collaborative partner that will push you out of your comfort zone every once in a while is going to be crucial to the growth of your business.

Often times this can be a coach or mentor, or even a well invested team member that is going to recognize when you tend to shrink back, and will lovingly prod you to look at the future.

You Need a GATEKEEPER

You need a VA on your team who can stay two steps ahead and always be on the lookout for potholes. Those unexpected, inconveniencing situations that come from taking risks… or anything outside of your normal routine. When you have someone who is your lookout and can diffuse a situation before it arises is the saving grace you need to step outside of your comfort zone and take risks necessary to grow your business.

Not only do you need someone to be a gatekeeper for you, your VA should also have some financial acumen, since casting a vision of a financial future will help you see the rewards of breaking past comfort.
