Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

What does a virtual assistant do?

Well, they can’t make a Starbucks run for you. That pretty much sums up all they can’t do. Anything that doesn’t require physical presence can be done virtually. You have to rethink your idea of assistant. Here are the most common tasks a Virtual Assistant can help you with:

  • Schedule Management
  • Calendar Management
  • Travel Management
  • Document Creation and Formatting
  • Research
  • Writing, Editing, Content Repurposing
  • Bookkeeping
  • Expense Report Management
  • Social Media Management
  • Customer Service
  • Email Screening
  • Client Inquiry Screening & Vetting

Who Do You Hire?

With a rigorous hiring process, we select the best of the best. Rather than relying on a resume alone, we interview, interview and interview. We put our team through a set of exercises meant to separate the chaff from the wheat. We want to pair you with an assistant for the long haul. As an intricate member of your team, we only want assistants that take you, and your business as seriously as you do. Hiring a VA through Priority VA means that you get a US-Based Virtual Assistant, trained, educated and experienced. Our team has worked with top level CEOs, Entrepreneurs and everyone in between.

Why Does it Work?

Members of Priority VA have their own Priorities, too. Many are moms, who want the best of both worlds, and work hard to have it. Some are young adults just finishing colleges looking to gain experience and be challenged. Whether motivated to succeed as an example for their children, or to support a newly formed family or pay off debt- our team works hard and plays hard. We juggle Meeting Minutes, volunteerism, or school plays, all while staying focused on what matters most to us, and you.

Efficient, and effective, our team members are required to have their own home office with a quiet space to focus on work. Each are equipped with their own hardware and software and are ready to put their skills to work for you. We’ve got VAs with PC Expertise and others with Mac Prowess.

Prioritizing Machines – our VAs know how to prioritize tasks to work efficiently and effectively making you look good, without draining your resources.

What if I don’t want to share my confidential information?

We’ll be honest. At some point, you’ve got to hand over the keys and trust your assistant. However, there are many programs like LastPass or OnePassword that will help you transition into giving your VA access to important information. Working with Confidential information is something we take seriously and we want to safeguard your information as if it was our own. All VAs are background checked, screened by us and sign confidentiality agreements to ensure you have little to worry about.

Will I Be Assigned Multiple Assistants?

Nope.
One of the hardest things to do is ask for help. Our main goal is to foster integrity-driven relationships so that you can confidently hand over tasks that take you away from working in your wheelhouse. We know that with rapport comes relationship and with relationship comes trust. If you want an assistant that will value your goals as much as you do, you must build a relationship. You’ll have one VA assigned to you that is as invested in building a relationship as you are.

Why shouldn’t I just hire my own assistant?

Why shouldn’t I just hire my own assistant?

In some cases, you should. Our team will work with you to decide what type of assistant you need, and if an in-house team member would work best for you, we’ll tell you. We want long-term partnerships. We won’t waste our time, or yours trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Every situation is different, and in some cases, a VA isn’t the best for your company.

There are several reasons why in most cases, Virtual is Better.

  • No Human Resource Issues
  • No Hassle Monthly Fee
  • No Benefits to consider
  • No High Salaries to Pay
  • No Costly Overhead
  • No Hourly Requirements – Pay for what you need!
